Very readable story telling the real life trials and tribulations of an ordinary guy put under some extraordinary circumstances by the sudden disapearance of his wife and how being the main suspect for nearly 20 years of her murder affected his life. Unlike other biographies and autobiographies it is not full of name dropping or famous events and all the people were just normal people like you or me, which in some way made it a lot more real to me.David's Style of writing also made it quite easy to read and I finished the book over a week. I was quite moved by having such an insight into the events.

Very disappointed! I look for the detail of the crime from beginning to the end. The fact that his wife was murdered, and he was a suspect for (19) years, took up 5% of the book. The rest involved details on the many jobs he had, the places he lived, and how many (apparently quite a few) wives and girlfriends he had. This is not a read for someone looking for a thorough investigation of the incident.
